  Receptionist does not respect patient time waiting in line and lets her contacts IN WITHOUT ANY WAIT TIME. Then she lies about it. Here's what happened when I came for a walk-in on August 6, 2017. The queue was quite long, I drew number 110 and I was told the wait is about 2 hours. Everyone needs to have the number in hand and there is no association between the number and the patient file. Some patients left in the meantime so the receptionist advances to the next number without calling the name. If you miss your spot, you need to get a new number and get back in queue. The number just before mine comes and there is no response. I knew who had taken it just before me and did not see the person there, so was hopeful I will finally go in after 2.5 hours wait. However, instead of advancing to the next number, the receptionist calls on "Jennifer" a teenager and her mom. I confronted the receptionist asking if they had number 109 because I remember someone else had taken it who was not there and I did not see Jennifer or her mom holding any number or her checking it. They also did not react when 109 was displayed on the screen as they were looking at it, until the name was called out loud. She said Yes twice, they were 109. When my turn comes next, I ask the same receptionist if she knows my name. Receptionist says, Yes, you are 110. (not my name!) I asked her how come she does not know my name but she knew Jennifer's just before. Her answer was because Jennifer did not respond on time, so she called her out by name. My next question was why she did not call out on any of the other patients when they had missed their spot? No answer to that. She was not at all happy that I caught on what she was doing and confronted her. The trick is when someone leaves the queue, there is an opportunity to sneak someone in without anyone noticing. It is extremely unfair as this individual would otherwise be at the end of the queue, and it represents utmost disrespect to everybody else waiting. Having said that, all respect for the doctors. They are knowledgeable, respectful and pleasant.

  This office makes it very difficult to get appointment to your Dr for urgent need. It takes 3 weeks or more for you to get an appointment. There is no priority put on customer need, for example if you need lab follow up, in pain, or just annual check up. Usually, reception should have reserved spots for certain condition, but they dont. Looking changing family Doctor just for these reasons - difficulties with appointments.
